Becky, wow! Glad to hear it!
GA - poor thing! I'm glad nothing's broken. Take it easy now!
RA, so glad everyone's safe.
GA, OUCH!!! My ankle hurt just reading your post. Hope it heals soon.
Chuck was released from the hospital Friday. The meningitis has messed with his blood pressure, so he's on medication for that, plus he fell while he was in the hospital (trying to get to the bathroom by himself) and cracked three ribs! So he's on pain meds for that. That's the third time he's fallen that I know of. He has a walker - he'll probably have to start using it soon.

And I dream I'm on vacation 'Cause I like the way that sounds,
It's a perfect occupation for me.
Austin, Good Luck for Wednesday!
RA, How terrifying for your daughter and her children....and you of course.
I'm glad they're all home safely with you now, that must be a huge relief to you all!
GA, Ouch! That's the kind of thing i'd do! "Take it easy" and rest up like you've been advised!
Cathy, Poor Chuck, it seems to be one thing after another Best Wishes to him

There is no more new frontier - we have got to make it here
RKA, my goodness, what a relief for you and your family! I'm so glad your daughter and her kids are home safe!
Ga, sorry about your ankle. Now be a good girl and take doctors orders and you'll be back on both feet soon! Bummer though!
Pm, so sorry about Chuck. That poor guy just can't get a break (no pun intended!). Sending positive thoughts and prayers his way.

Austin, good luck for Wednesday. I visited one of my sisters on Saturday and she told me one of her DILs was diagnosed as a coeliac last year. She had it as a baby but grew out of it. Now she is back with it and all the 'fun' that goes with it.
GA, rest that foot and never mind work. They will have to survive without you.
RA. Glad that your daughter and her family got out safely.
PM, poor Chuck. Sending positive vibes his way.

PM sorry to hear about Chuck. Some guys just seem to have it bad. I hope he's ok.
Thanks for the good vibes re the ankle. Its already beginning to feel a bit stronger when I DO manage to hobble off! I'm hoping to get into work tomorrow to do some paperwork.
Hubby went back to the petrol station to report to them what happened yesterday in an effort to prevent it from happening to anybody else. The manager was very non commital and quite standoffish. He then said that 'Yeah, we know there's a problem there. We'll be closing soon go upgrade the whole forecourt'. Hmmmmm. Now I'm thinking if there was a problem, why wasn't there some indication of the danger. I'm not a claim merchant, but I am seriously debating whether I should see if I can claim the €240 medical expenses from them. Thats no more than I spent and in view of the fact that they were negligent in not pointing out a danger, I think I'm being quite fair.
