TG, good luck, my fingers croosed!
Lou, WOW, what for amazing pictures!

Well done, Lou. I used to draw, as well. That's how I made side money in high school. I used to re-create album covers for people large size to hang on a wall. My graduating class even voted me "class artist", but I think that was because my senior art show happened to be on display in the school lobbey when the voting was being done.
I can't remember the last time I sat down and actually finished a project that I started. Wonder if you don't use it, you lose it.

I used to be really good at drawing. But with time, it evolved to missing all those inside straights so I quit.

Wow, Lou!! Those are so good!! I can only wish that I had an artistic talent. I was kind of okay at art in high school but I never really tried to do any better at it. Looking forward to seeing your drawing of the guys.
TG, best of luck on your house. Keep us posted on that.
I was reminded of something after reading the brief discussion about a colonoscopy. This bit is by my favorite comedian, Bill Engvall. He's so funny and such a sweet guy. I've been lucky enough to get to meet him a few times.

Such a fine sight to see."
He's one of my favorite comedians too. I have gotten to see him perform in person a few times but have never actually met him . He is so funny without cursing every other word like so many others.
That was as good as some of the routines Bill Cosby does! "Frogmen"...YESH!

Mike! (We need a groooaaan smiley)
Good luck to you TG. What a relief after 18 months.
On the flip side of the housing market, my 24 year old son, Tom went thru the pre-approval process for a home mortgage loan a couple of weeks ago. He and I started some casual house hunting this past weekend, and we did exactly what I cautioned him not to do - we fell in love with the first house we toured. We've toured about 8 or 9 houses after that, and none of the others is even close to the first one.
I'm really excited for him. And yet, I can't believe the bank is really going to give this child money to purchase his own home. We're expecting the realtor to stop tonight so that he can write an offer! Fingers crossed. I don't want him to be disappointed!
