The great thing about new members reviving these old threads is that we get to look at these great photos Peek took! I love the "let somebody love you" Don pic! Heck, they're all great!

    Pretty Maid

I listen to a Classic Rock Station and when every they play something from the Eagles or Joe Walsh, they call him Wichita's Home Boy.

You know, I'm not sure I can! Lol! Joe did it at the show I went to in 2010 also. After he was introduced by Glenn, he just went to the box of Kleenex and quickly tore them out one by one. I don't know whether he was trying to say he was choked up by the applause he was getting, or what, but it was pretty nonsensical!

Hard telling with Joe!!! That's why we love him so much. I remember I laughed each time I saw him do it, tho!!
He sings it high, he plays it low

Peek doesn't say the name of the hotel in her review, only that she stayed in the same one as the Eagles.

I was hoping to find out, maybe be close to the hotel the day of the concert.

There are a couple I am thinking of that are really close to the arena

SC, I asked Peekaboo what hotel she (and the Eagles) stayed at in 2010 and she said it was the Hyatt.

    Thank you!

That is what I figured, it is probably the nicest hotel closest to the Arena. Hum, there is a pretty good dining area, maybe we will have to dine there before the concert in October
