I can't believe this! I'm watching VH1's "100 Greatest Artists of All Time" and the Eagles didn't even make the list. What kind of BS is that????
VH1 FAIL.

OMG - I don't even know what to say about that. I really dislike these kinds of lists in general, but this one is nothing short of outrageous. I understand that you can't please everyone, but VH1 could've gotten a helluva lot closer than this! Go figure.

Wow, EPIC Fail. and they put Kiss In there over them? I love Kiss but I don't see how they are one of the greatest.
Are any of The Eagles videos available for viewing on Video Hits One?
The Eagles disbanded around the same time that MTV and VH1 were becoming popular, so they only made a few videos from The Long Run album. I would imagine that they are available for VH1 to play if they wanted. However, I'm guessing that this wasn't a factor in them not making VH1's list of 100 Greatest Artist. Many of the artists that did make the list never made a music video. But, if videos were a criteria in judging this, then I would think that Don Henley and Glenn Frey would have been contenders as solo artists. They both made award winning videos as solo artists and still neither appear on the list. I know that these things are subjective, but a list that includes Radiohead and OutKast, but not the Eagles - I'm sorry, but not too credible, IMHO.

Perhaps they should have spat blood or set themselves on fire.
They have a message board. I haven't been on it forever and don't even remember my username, etc. I'm thinking we need to sign up and start a new topic about the snub! Worth a shot perhaps. Might have to check that out later today.

Considering all the schlocky television for which VH1 is responsible, should anyone even care who they think the top 100 artists are?
Exactly. I watched a bit of that schlock last night. I won't waste my time signing up over there to complain about the "snub". I'm glad they weren't included in that. Please, I don't want to suffer watching Billy Joel's daughter or some of those other "artists" giving comments on The Eagles.
I wouldn't care except JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE MADE THE LIST. Now, come on. Even with the paltry two videos they issued in the '00s, the Eagles could best Timberlake.
And what about the Beatles? They disbanded before music videos even existed as a concept, so certainly the Eagles could register somewhere. I smell a personal vendetta.
