Cheryl - those photos are absolutely wonderful. We're glad you could share them, too! Looks like you definitely mastered the art of posting photos on The Border!

IT WAS ME !! I swear. I was in Section 2 Row B Seats 1 & 2 which were on the center aisle. These were official platinum seats and we were surrounded by ILAA people who were absolutely sh#t faced. They were loud, inattentive and taking flash pictures with security screaming at them. As Soda said, it was the first night the arena was open and I don't think security knew what they were in for. A woman two seats down was almost physically removed, but she LOUDLY threatened a law suit and security backed down.
There were a few "normal" people who showed appropriate energy and enthusiasm, but we were few and far between.
So I suppose I was like a flower in a bunch of weeds and I guess Mr. Henley noticed and appreciated my attentiveness. When they came out for the final encore, I started putting on my jacket thinking they'd only do Desperado and we'd be out of there. So I have one arm in the sleeve and Don looks right at me and says off microphone: "Take that off." I didn't blink. Off it came. They did three songs for the final encore -- ending, of course, with Desperado.
I'm sure they're used to all types of audiences so they didn't seem very bothered by the nonsense. They played their as#es off and really seemed to have a good time. I know I did.
Cool! I bet there's a lot of ladies here who would love Don to mouth, "take that off".
Too right! How cool, HH!
you better put it all behind you, baby, 'cause life goes on
