    Default Barbara Billingsley RIP

    I just read that Barbara Billingsley, who played June Cleaver on "Leave it to Beaver" has passed away. She was 94 years old.
    How I loved watching "Beaver" as a child, and still enjoy watching it today! June's portrayal of Beaver and Wally's mom was so honest and gentle. Her love for her "boys", including Ward, her husband, really shone through.
    My condolences to her family and friends, and also her TV family.
    May she rest in peace. She will live on through "Leave it to Beaver" forever!

    Although I never have watched "The Beav" very much, Barbara Billingsley was a fine actress. What a long and full life she led!

    Wow! It seems that she did have a long, full life. June Cleaver was such a '50's icon. I remember I had a dress once that I called my June Cleaver dress because it looked like one of the dresses she always wore on the show. lol May she RIP.
