Here is another film trailer, this time with some Super 8 footage that I shot:

Another one for you all. This features my precious "Ruby", which most of you know about.

    Who did that clever write-up?

BTW, some of the guitar reminds me of Lindsey Buckingham's more recent work, like on the Under the Skin album. Not bad.
And I somehow missed your response - thanks! Two things happened to "Thinking About The Girl I Love" - one, I wasn't confident I could sing it without misadventure in a live recording situation, and two, we had a full band and that song only needs the two of us, so I went with "Lazy Eyes" instead. I'm glad you like "Flying" because I don't care for that particular performance as I considered my vocal to be very poor. The guy who did the write-up is Sean Moeller, one of the founders of Daytrotter, he does all of them. Daytrotter is actually a very popular music blog which gets about 25,000 hits a day, we were lucky to get on it. I think I know which guitar parts you're talking part, and while they were excellent, we were actually looking for something more countryish . . .

    Thanks! I appreciate that!

Some may get the wrong impression from my videos that I'm just a bedroom guitarist, etc and not know that I've played in many bands over the years and that I am a professional guitarist and musician. But I'm a rock tribute band guitarist, my job is to play everything note-for-note like the record and exactly like the original and copy the tone and everything exact. I'm a very picky exacting type of musician and I want everything to be exact (like the Eagles). I'm not an original music type of guy (like SS) but still am a musician. Unfortunately I'm not in a band right now and so my videos are all done in my studio and I worry it gives off the wrong impression that I'm just a bedroom player that plays for fun or isn't very good when in fact I'm a gigging guitarist who has played for quite a few years and am used to play live and have for a long time. I miss my Eagles tribute band and I wish I had videos of my old band to show so that maybe more people would realize that.

    Thanks again!

    Thanks Dreamer!

I appreciate Troub, PM, and your comments. It makes me feel good to hear those compliments especially when I feel like sometimes people don't like my videos (not here but on YouTube in general) or what not.

Keep 'em comin' Austin! Even though I know nothing about guitars (and admit I sometimes 'fast forward' through your descriptions of guitars, pedal, etc.) I can appreciate the skill with which you play. I, like you, wish you had some video of your old band.
