All I can say is I picked a bad time to start a BIG money kitchen renovation we plan to pay for in cash.

At least if they wait untill the fall there might be a slight chance that I could save enough by then to go see them again if they come anywhere near me.

I liked the sound of "coming to a city near you".

Which doesn't give them a lot of time to fit in Europe!

Mostly just expressing frustration, but comments are welcome.

My wife and I were at the last show at the MGM. I see that another one is scheduled, but I have been complaining lately that business is slow.

I don't know if I can justify more tickets so soon. The only thing I am seeing on Ticketmaster is one Las Vegas and one in GA which is too far, and something about a jazz festival.

But it sounds like the consensus is that there will be more dates later in the year.

Yes, that's what they've been saying. Of course you never know what could happen, but they are planning a tour and from what Joe says, it'll start in the fall.

There is an advert on Ticketmaster for a tour in the fall, "coming to a city near you."

Okay, it's not going to be coming to a city near me (on the other side of the world), but it does sound promising for a decent US tour.

I still think they will hit Europe/Rest of the World again after they have done the US and had a bit of a break.

I would love for them to come to a city near me but if I want to see them I'm going to have to travel.

In the meantime it IS March 2nd which would lead me to believe that 'the big machine' has started to grease it's wheel and gear up for Cape Town, Sun City, Johannesburg and Dubai. Their Cape Town show is less than 5 weeks out!

I hope once they return to the States mid-April we'll begin to see more about additional shows in the coming months. (I'm fighting the temptation to go down to Vegas...hope I don't live to regret it.)

I'm REALLY hoping that the band is ready to begin the 40th anniversary tour in the fall. However, being the perfectionist that they are, I don't think they'll kick it off until they are good and ready, even if it means starting the 40th anniversary tour in their 42nd year. - Don't want to give them any ideas.

Surely if there are ads on Ticketmaster for "in the fall" there must be something fairly solid planned?
