I guess that was a corporate show. Thanks Steph. Now I know what they did on my birthday (U.S. version).

Tickets were available to selected American Express card holders(don't know on what basis).

There were some others but Warner have picked up on them already & had the audio track removed from them.

From what I could see there Don was out front for LITFL. But he is on drums for RMW.

I really, really hope he will be playing drums on all the relevant songs in Sydney. I will be very disappointed if he doesn't.

Perhaps he has decided that he no longer wishes to or is capable of playing drums & singing at the same time. If this is the case, the shows won't be the same in my opinion.

It's times like these when one wishes one had an American Express card!

I'm confused. Was this a charity event not open to the public? I don't understand the whole "selected American Express cardholders" thing.

I remember one time Stevie Nicks gave a concert that was open only to people who held a "World Master Card." I only had a regular one, and things like this were supposed to be a "perk" of upgrading. Luckily a friend of mine had one and could bring a guest! I think it's something like that. Since American Express has such a close relationship with Ticketmaster/Azoff, I can see why this Eagles event was affiliated with that card.

Crap - Now I know I shouldn't have cut that card up a few years ago! That's some perk, but as we were discussing in another thread - seems to be more 'business as usual'.
