    Default Dandy Don Meredith

Meredith, ex Dallas Cowboy Quarterback of the 70's, died Sunday, Dec 5.

I remember back in the 70's when I was still interested in football, the Cowboys were "My Team". Had to be. I lived in Dallas and if you weren't a "Cowboy", you were less than dirt!

    May he rest in Peace.

Hadn't heard this. How old was he? What a football legend and I also remember him from the 70s and of course after his football career. RIP!

I think Mr. Meredith was 72. He had suffered a brain hemorrhage and then slipped into a coma.

OMG - I'm definitely not a Dallas Cowboys fan, but I loved Dan Meredith on Monday Night Football. He was very entertaining and still ranks up there as one of the best commentators that have been on the show, IMO. My heart goes out to all of his loved ones. RIP Dandy Don.

Wasn't he also the spokesperson for Lipton tea a while back?

    RIP.
