    I saw them in Melbourne in December. It took a couple of songs for their voices to really warm up. Don was VERY raspy on Hotel California (about 4 songs in) but his voice was crystal clear after that. I do actually like the rasp, I just wish I had known at the time that it wasn't going to last all night - I was getting a bit worried that he wouldn't make it through the show!

    The concert was fantastic. So very happy I was able to go (we're from New Zealand so there were flights & accommodation - and shopping - to add to the budget). Husband got MAJOR brownie points from that trip.

    The mp3 recordings would be cool - DH got a recording of the Pixies when they came down here last year, but it was on CD and was delivered a couple of weeks later. I can't imagine the Eagles releasing something without checking the sound quality first???
