Drat, I like On The Border and Ol' 55, but it looks like one of them will go this time around. Of the rest, Good Day In Hell is a great song, but the one I am least familiar with, so
I cast my vote for Good Day In Hell

You have my abject apologies Brooke. My computer argues with me so often that when it ignored me this morning i hit submit a second time assuming the program would pop up that "you cannot post again" thing if I did send it twice. Now...you know what happens when we assume, don't you? But seriously, thank you Dreamer for fixing it. I didn't check the post since the comp was so slow. However...I did want OTB to be the one to leave this time so........Originally Posted by Brooke

*groan* I think I see the ship going down lol
I just can't believe you guys are voting off this boards namesake
There are better tracks on the album. It has nothing to do with the title of the board.
Maleah, you're so ruthless, trying to guilt folks into saving On the Border because it's the board name! But I know your game, girlie! And this after your brutal reply to me in the last round about my brilliant strategy made me sob in my pillow for hours last night!
lol I know it has nothing to do with the title of the board.......I was just playing Soda's gameOriginally Posted by Freypower
I know............I almost felt guilty But then I went and re-read your post on TLR boards about only being able to join if they helped you vote off OTB I'm gonna go sob into MY pillow now *sniffle*Originally Posted by SodaScouts
Well - barring a last minute miracle, I guess On the Border is about to be voted off. What a shame - I think it is so much better lyrically than Ol '55. A few weeks ago one of my co-workers said that On the Border is the song that won him over as an Eagles fan. As he said - any band that writes lyrics like "Cruising down the center of a two-way street, wondering who is really in the driver's seat" is just awesome. Even though Ol '55 does have the beautiful harmonies, it just doesn't measure up On the Border, IMO. But, I guess I'm in the minority here. So, even though my vote may only count in the event of a future tie breaker....
I cast my vote for Ol '55.
