Looks like a certain song may be going down in flames... but we'll see! It's still anybody's round.

It is far & away the best song on the album - Glenn at his charismatic best. The lyrics are sexist. That's part of the charm.

I had to say that, now it seems it's 'going down'. With me, however, it will always be 'glory bound'.

I agree, FP--it is my one of my top favorite Eagles songs, period. The Glenn-Don harmony, especially in the second verse, is outstanding and the song just ROCKS!
    I can't believe it is going down.....<sigh>

Interesting that the sexist lyrics of Good Day in Hell are viewed one way and yet the sexist lyrics of You Never Cry Like a Lover were viewed the opposite way.

Well - I, for one, don't care about the sexist lyrics since these song were written in the early '70's when there were very sexist attitudes in general. I would probably feel differently if they were written today. But I agree that Good Day in Hell doesn't deserve to go down yet. It is a really good song, and I am truly surprized about this. Oh well, the tribe has spoken (almost).

I cast my vote for Ol' 55.

BTW Z - love that hot new AV of yours.
