OK.. since Ol' 55 is gone, I seriously can't tell myself that James Dean is a better song than BOML. I am very fond of James Dean but there is something slightly 'kitschy' about it, especially the 'little James Dean,up on the screen' part. Um.

I know about James Dean, the whole myth surrounding the Hollywood idol who died so young, and the tragic way he died when he crashed his Spyder. That is one reason why I thought these lyrics were especially clever:
Little James Dean, up on the screen
Wond'rin' who he might be
Along came a Spyder and picked up a rider
And took him down the road to eternity
However, after saying all that, I still cast my vote to remove James Dean, because the remaining two songs really are my favorites.
