you better put it all behind you, baby, 'cause life goes on
you keep carrying that anger, it'll eat you up inside--
Oh man, I am so there!

And I dream I'm on vacation 'Cause I like the way that sounds,
It's a perfect occupation for me.
Ha - thought you might be!
Doesn't it look fantastic? Eagles, Kris, James, Carole, Jackson... So excited that Danny Kortchmar is being interviewed on film, too. (Rare!) "The music always wins. Always."

That's just like "Far Out Man!" Groovy! Outta Sight! Heavy!

King and Taylor really do love the Troubadour. They did that concert a while back there and released it on DVD - I wonder if the Eagles could ever be coaxed into doing something like that? But perhaps it wouldn't mesh as well, since Joe was never part of the Troub crowd.
That doc looks so cool!

Open up your eyes take the devil from your mind
This isn't exactly press, but I didn't know where else to put it. There's an excellent American Masters on PBS airing now. It's called Troubadours and is based on Carole King/James Taylor in the early times of singer/songwriters. Lot of Danny Kortchmar, Leland Sklar, Russ Kunkel, Jackson Browne, David Crosby and many others hangin' at the Troub. Steve Martin recalls the time that Glenn was starting out in Longbranch and wanted badly to become a star. There's a couple of pics of hte guys, and a bit of film. Martin has a funny rendition of The Eagles/Eagles name.
Good stuff.....

Thanks, Deb. There is a thread about this documentary in the Singing For The Sake Of The Song section. I have ordered my copy of the DVD from Amazon and I can't WAIT to receive it. I couldn't watch it last night as I don't have PBS... I'm interested to know what those who watched it thought, though!

I found a link for it on PBS, but ............. it wasn't available in my region.
