I know very little about Gary Moore, but the one tune of his that I do know, "Parisienne Walkways", is a beautiful piece of music.
May he rest in peace.

I've got a peaceful, easy feeling
And I know Glenn won't let me down
Oh how sad! I remember my reaction the first time I heard Still Got The Blues on the car radio all those years ago. What talent!

And I dream I'm on vacation 'Cause I like the way that sounds,
It's a perfect occupation for me.
Here's what the Sun is saying about his death. Sounds like the tragic death of another legend due to alcohol abuse. Come on people, when will we learn not to take it to far!!

There is no more new frontier - we have got to make it here
TG--I'm not familiar with the Star but that's what I'm reading on FB from some of my European friends. The one that actually posted it warned to take it with a grain of salt because they are notorious for not telling the truth.

Well whatever the cause its a very sad occasion. Of course Gary Moore (And Thin Lizzy) have been a wellknown and very popular band here since the late 70's. May he rest in Peace.
My favourite 'Lizzy' track is 'Old Town' but I also love 'Parisienne Walkways', probably one of Moores most famous songs.
'I must be leaving soon... its your world now'
Glenn Frey 1948-2016 RIP
This is so sad. He was a very talented man. I loved to listen and watch him play.
