After last elimination round, I thought TS was in real trouble. I'm surprised by the margin it won... and Happy!
It's a great song that has stood the test of time.
Fun game... and really made me rethink OOC...
Congrats to Tequila Sunrise!
With such a clear result, I did not expect!
As always it was fun to play this game and to read all the Discussions!
Thanks again to Soda and Dreamer for making the game for us!!

Congrats to Tequila Sunrise!! Well deserved win. I'm another who's not a huge fan of Desperado. Used to be, but over the years, it's worn thin on me.
Thanks again to Soda & Dreamer for keeping it going!! Can't wait for the next one.
He sings it high, he plays it low
Tequila Sunrise is one that I am ambivalent about. I remember one Saturday morning that seemed to me to be what Tequila Sunrise was about....terrible hangover from WAY too many Tequila Shots the night before
Seriously, TS is a great song and deserves the win, though I liked Desperado better....but I'm a moody/introspective type personality and do agree with the sentiment of Desperado. Overall, I think that is why I think the album appealed so much to me.

I know what you mean. I had to think long and hard about whether I was going to go with Desperado when we started this game because I too have grown 'tired' of it. But that's what is so great about this Survivor game. It makes us rethink every song and listen with fresh ears. After doing that there was no doubt for me that Desperado deserved the win. Tequila Sunrise was third on my list.
Just for kicks, here is my list:
Desperado
Outlaw Man
Tequila Sunrise
Certain Kind Of Fool
Out Of Control
Doolin-Dalton
Doolin-Dalton/Desperado Reprise
Bitter Creek
Twenty One
Saturday Night
So congratulations to Tequila Sunrise. Now it can ride into the sunset.

And I dream I'm on vacation 'Cause I like the way that sounds,
It's a perfect occupation for me.
I'm so happy that Tequila Sunrise won, too. I didn't think it would beat out Desperado though.
I really love both songs, but I have gotten tired of Desperado over the years.
So, Glenn, are you listening? We love Tequila Sunrise and it should still be in your set list. It's a great song!

Yes, bring it back. Love Glenn's voice on TS. I guess that's the reason I'm not fond of Out of Control. It's amost like Glenn is yelling instead of singing. He has such a great voice.
BRAVO...BRAVO....
..AND YES IT SHOULD DEFINATELY BE IN THE SET LIST...
Congratulations to Tequila Sunrise!!!
A very worthy winner, indeed ... and also to Desperado which would also have been a very worthy winner, IMHO. As many of us have repeatedly stated, this is such a great album, and I don't think there are any bad songs on it, individually or collectively. To me, there is a very fine line between the quality of the songs here. Even though I knew it was a long shot, the song that I was really hoping would win was the Doolin-Dalton/Desperado Reprise simply because I think it is the perfectly ending to a nearly perfect album!
