EF, great to hear from you again! Sounds like you are going to have a busy summer!

No Missouri for Stevie? Hopefully there will be more dates.

I would love to go see him in St. Louis, but I just can't. My son is getting married July 16th and there's just too much going on with that now.

Happy time, but I sure hate to miss him.

Every summer there is a concert in the Hawkes Bay "Mission Estate" vineyard. Past artists have included Eric Clapton, Lionel Richie (although that one got rained out!! ), Rod Stewart, Ray Charles and last year it was Sting. Although I couldn't go because I had totally blown the entertainment budget on a trip to Melbourne to see some little band

They have just announced the date for 2012 (Feb 25th), but they won't announce the artist/band for a coupl of weeks... it's a beautiful part of the country that I've never been to, so I'm thinking of booking accommodation for the concert weekend - gambling on the artist being someone I actually like!

It's kind of fun anticipating - a total mystery!

And earlier that week Rob will be going to see Roger Waters doing his "The Wall" show...

Sounds nice - but I'd definitely wait to see who was playing before I booked anything!

They do shows like that at a Hunter Valley vineyard north of Sydney. Fleetwood Mac played there on their last tour. The logistics would make it impossible for me to attend a show there.

However I apparently have no logistical problems with attending a show in NIAGARA FALLS.

This tells you a lot about Australian public transport. There isn't any & I couldn't drive there.

And Roger Waters is also bringing his show here; unfortunately for me Pink Floyd is David Gilmour, no matter who wrote the songs, and I'm not interested.

That sounds cool EK, hope it comes a musician to the concert which you like!

I think it also says something about your motivation...

Have tried booking the Roger Waters tickets, and the only seats "currently available" are the really pricey ones. However "additional tickets often become available closer to the event date." Just make it easy for me already!!
