It was a great show!!!! It was by far my favorite concert experience and everything. It was a religious experience for me, very surreal. I was dead in front of Rich Robinson and mainly watched him the whole night. There are pics on my FB of the whole show. Rich to me is like a combination of Keith Richards, Ron Wood, and Jimmy Page. He has a great stage presence although he is NOT a showman, but he reminds me of Page and how he'd do sound effects and play with the bow, although Rich didn't use a violin bow he did mess with his echo units and made wacky sounds, reminding me of Page. But his riffs are largely very Faces/Stones type riffs in open tuning.

It really was a lot of fun... I tweeted the other guitarist for the Crowes the night before the show asking if they'd play "Twice As Hard" which is my fav as it hadn't been in the set lately and whaddya know they played it after the first song! I don't know if it was me saying something or not as he never replied to me but I can't help but to wonder if it was. The Crowes go through lead guitarists pretty often. Right now it's Jackie Greene, who I was referring to that I sent that tweet too.

Unfortunately they don't throw or give out any picks, only two setlists on either side of the stage and I got one.

Going to see the Rascals in July. A real oldies group. Even before my time, but I like their songs.

Have fun! I saw them do that show on Broadway in April. You will enjoy it, if you know their music.

I'm going to see Paul McCartney this Saturday and Monday in Brooklyn. Can't wait!
