John Popper was great! And I had no problem getting in. He played a lot of stuff from his new album. It was such an amazing lively concert! I even got to meet him afterwards!!!!! He signed my ticket

Wow EF - that is fantastic. Very cool that you got to meet him and get the autograph. You're a lucky girl!

Well it looks like I have a concert coming up I will be going to. I wanted to go see Jackson Browne but it looks like that will be when I am in Florida visiting my grandma/stepgrandpa.

But it looks as if I will be going to see Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top in Peoria in late May!!! I have always wanted to see ZZ Top. Lynyrd Skynyrd will be good too. It's not the same as their original band but I go to concerts for entertainment and the truth is - they still play those songs spot on and play them like the originals. I don't buy their new albums but I love to hear their old songs and so I will enjoy Skynyrd too.

It's a co-headline concert on May 26th at 7PM. Tickets go on sale this Friday. We are going to try to get Front Row Tickets!!!! If we do, I'm going to take my pickguard off of "Ruby" (my #1 guitar) and get it signed by both Billy Gibbons and the guy who is the original member in Skynyrd (the only original member left) who plays Les Pauls, Gary Rossington!!!!

I'm very excited about this. I saw Skynyrd back in '07 in Peoria. I have never seen ZZ Top! I can't wait!!!!!!

That's exciting, WF! Good luck getting tickets!

I'd like to see both of those bands, too, and Peoria is in my area.

So many bands, but so little time...and money!
