I'd like to see both of those bands, too, and Peoria is in my area.

So many bands, but so little time...and money!

Def Leppard and Heart are coming to Chicago this summer and was planning on going but had to make a choice. I love all 4 bands but I ultimately chose LS/ZZ because I've never seen ZZ Top AND I love Lynyrd Skynyrd a bit more than Def Leppard, although I love both bands. And plus it's a lot closer to us.

I saw Def Leppard in Peoria a few years back with Tesla - great show. I have never seen Heart but I'm hoping I'll be able to make it out to concert of theirs in the future!

I know Cathy!!! I had promised my grandma and stepgrandpa I would be coming down for a visit and the flight is already booked. I just had forgot about it because it was something we planned around Christmastime.

We will meet one of these days at a a concert!!!

Yep we were talking about it in Gearhead! That is very cool!!!! I've always been a Skynyrd fan and I have always wanted to see ZZ Top. I have seen Skynyrd before in '07.

We went to see Tim Minchin at the Opera House with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. He is a talented pianist/comedian/singer-songwriter but I think most of his material would be a bit over the top for most people here. This is one of his milder songs which he played last night, Rock'n'Roll Nerd:
