Good luck and be sure to tell us all about it! Same for our other concert-goers!

Here's a few pics from the Foreigner concert I went to last
week here in my hometown. The clarity isn't great, but you
    get the general idea.

    Hi all,

This week Foreigner is promoting their new album in Germany. They did 4 acoustic gigs on several radio stations and the stations put up a raffle. Tickets couldn't be bought only 50 people could win each 2 tickets.
Every day you could call the station as soon as they played the new single. No luck for me.

I've never won something like that but I grabbed my chance I took part in that. On their website I had to answer a few questions and sent them in by email. The entire last week was a nightmare LOL Every day I've checked my emails and no message... until Wednesday. And what can I say... I won 2 tickets

So on Friday I went with my mom to Hamburg to see them. It was fantastic!!! They played an acoustic set of 10 songs, 3 of them from the new album and they played it for the first time in public. Wow, what a great band! They sounded great especially the singer Kelly Hansen, who has one of the greatest rock voices IMO. They were all in a good mood and I really enjoyed that special evening.

After the concert they took the time to sign everything what people gave them and you could take photos of the band or talk to them. They are very gracious to their fans and so down to earth.

But I wanted more a photo with Kelly and me so I had to wait until they finished the autograph session and then I rushed forward and asked Kelly if we can take a photo. And he said: Sure honey, come around
I went behind the table and put my arms around Kelly and Jeff. Kelly was so close it was simply wonderful to feel his beautiful soft hair in my face

That night was a real treat. One doesn't get the chance often to enjoy a concert in such a personal atmosphere. A night I will never forget.

Now I'm looking forward to April when I see them again.

If you want to watch the gig you can find it until March 13th here:

    Dreamer and Koala

You bet, Dreamer I love acoustic concerts so we can see what a band is really capable of. They said they never did acoustic before so I was curious in which way they would perform the songs. And I was more than happy to hear some new songs especially Fool For You Anyway which is one of my favorites. They did an awesome job on it.

Hi Michaela! Nice photos! Sounds like it was a blast. Foreigner is still on my "to do" list of concerts.

I'm excited! Opening weekend of Summerfest here in Milwaukee...we got Section 1 Row 7 tickets to the Tom Petty/ZZ Top show. Should be amazing!
