Sorry Willie, haven't been on here as much as I'd like. Your pics are good enough for me! My phone camera takes 'blurs'.
    Glad Eddie pleased you!

Getting excited for your review and pics WF!

I'm getting pretty excited for tomorrow's show! I've heard from some people who saw that show last night (on a guitar forum) and they said it was amazing! I definitely will do my best with pics and I will also write a review!

I've been so busy I almost forgot that I have a concert coming up tomorrow night, Friday. We're going to see REO Speedwagon at the historic Virginia Theatre in Champaign, IL. I've seen them several times over the years, but haven't seen them since 1996 (with Eddie Money).

Austin, I'll be thinking about you tonight . Hope you enjoy it!

Have fun Cathy. I became and REO Speedwagon fan after my first trip to the US way back in 1980 when I stayed with my Uncle in Miami. Bought their L P back with me too. Not kept up with them since that must admit.

Austin, hope you have fun tonight too.

Thanks everyone! I can't wait! I'm literally counting down the time before I leave for the Civic Center!

Can't wait to report back with a full review and pics for everyone! Everyone I've talked to that's seen these two bands on this particular tour say it's amazing. And it will be even more so since I am front row! I am super excited! It'll be my 2nd front row concert. I saw REO Speedwagon (with Styx and .38 Special) last year front row and it was amazing too.

Cathy - Enjoy your concert! I love REO - Dave Amato is one of my favorite players and he is a very down to earth kind of guy, I've talked to him over the net a few times about guitars actually (he has a website with contact info) and he is one of the most humble yet amazing guitarists I've came across.

Hey everyone here is some pics from last night to tide you over until I get a review wrote up.

I'm actually sick right now as ZZ Top last night burned incense on the stage and had a blower into the air and I'm allergic and my throat is so sore I can't talk or swallow and I'm in a great deal of pain and may have to go to the doc/ER/whatever! But my doctor is out of town until next week I didn't know they did that but as soon as I smelled it I knew I was in trouble.

The show was KILLER though. Skynyrd was amazing, as was ZZ. I got 3 picks from Skynyrd - 2 from Gary Rossington and one from Rickey Medlocke, who is one of my newest guitar heroes.

And yes go to the doctor/ER if it becomes not better or possibly even more badly!
