If I remember correctly (big IF), they counter-sued Felder for writing the book. That's why publication was delayed until the lawsuits were settled out of court...

That's correct (I looked it up). From an article on the matter in the LA Times:

"Henley and Frey countersued Felder in August [of 2002], alleging he breached his contract by writing and trying to sell a 'tell-all' book about his life in the band."

Yes, it's available in the UK now. Just ordered a copy. Amazon are selling it for £14.99 with Free 3-5 day delivery in the UK.
Waterstones & Blackwells are selling it for £20, the Guardian Bookstore for £16 - so make sure you don't buy it from the wrong place!!

It will probably be very similar to other Eagles books, but Ben Fong-Torres is a good writer, so I decided to get a copy.

Thanks Steph, if you can get it in the UK, I should be able to get it in Ireland. I might leave it a week or two though. Not that I WANt to, but I've fed my habit quite a bit recently.

First impressions? Lots of pictures, all of which i've seen before....except possibly one of Joe that I don't remember seeing - sadly I don't have a scanner, so I can't share it with you.......taken at the Orlando Vintage Guitar Show Feb 1993 he's wearing a (ladies) beige coloured hat with pink flower and black/grey jacket with red flowers and holding a ukelele.
I haven't read any of it yet...........................still looking at the pictures!!
