It does make him look older, but I'd still like to see him try it with his hair going gray, too. Kenny Rogers looked much better when he was all silver then when he was younger (at least until he got the bad plastic surgery job). Sorry if I offend anyone, but the beard and the hair two different colors looks stupid, IMO. Maybe if the beard was a different shape it might look better. He does look like he should be selling chicken.

I didn't like the beard when I first saw it, but it has definitely grown on me. I think I'd still prefer him dark-haired & clean-shaven though.

Well it seems like this topic is becoming almost as controversial here as the suits! I guess the only way to please everyone is to have Don shave off the beard on one side of his face and leave it on the other.

Sorry Carole & Melanie but I'm with the 'shave the beard off' fans on this one! I prefer his hair grey rather than when he used to dye it that orangy colour, but the beard is SO ageing.
I'm sort of biased 'cos I don't like beards at all; I'm OK about a bit of designer stubble though.

Nah, just make them perform 2 nights at each venue - he can have the beard on the first night & shave on the second!

Not sure how that would work out with our other master plan of alternate set lists on different nights... maybe they'd have to do 4 shows at a time to cover all options.
