As for the outfits, I refuse to believe that I heard the words "grey shirt" again...!

I am hesitant to get into another debate about Glenn's songs being dropped, but I do agree that it's difficult to speculate - festival sets ARE different. The show that Steph went to recently was not so extreme. I wouldn't worry too much, although I can understand that Glenn fans present might have been hoping for more. All I will say is that I think Glenn might actually find the accusation that his "heart is not in it anymore" slightly insulting. He is in his sixties, touring extensively, and he has just announced solo shows. I believe he still has a hunger to do this, and I also believe he would have the integrity and sense to know if the day comes when he absolutely cannot do it anymore. I also very much doubt the idea that Don and Joe are somehow "forcing" their songs on him. From everything we've heard, Glenn is the leader. He makes many of the decisions, particularly regarding set lists. He is in no way a pushover. He has himself stated that "Don is our chief vocalist and chief lyricist" - hey, maybe Glenn is just HAPPY to play guitar and jam for a portion of the concert, without worrying about having to sing lead! Who knows. But I do think some of the theories, once again, are a little over the top, and slightly unfair to Glenn and the other guys.
    Wow troub! Beautifully stated!!!

    Troub---think you are spot on!!!!!

Thanks for the reviews everyone!! Melanie---love the accuracy of your clothing review. You're sure Timothy had trousers?!? Great stuff, no matter the setlist.

Melanie, Carole-congrats on being de-virgined! But I've gotta ask---was it good for ya?

Can't wait to see any pictures you do have, Melanie.

That just about sums it up Lou! And Gary too. I don't think a festival set list is the best one to use to sum up a band like the Eagles

Annabel and ok1, thanks for the great reviews! Sounds like an awesome time despite the smaller set list.

I must agree with Troub also on the why's of Glenn's even fewer songs. I just can't believe he can't do it or doesn't want to do it when he's scheduled solo shows.

Hopefully they will have a rest and come out raring to go for the 40th anniversary tour.
