Hmm, a 6.5 hour drive on a Friday... could be doable... but with his tickets topping out at over $200 nowadays, I'm not sure I can afford it - especially since I'm seeing Lindsey Buckingham in Atlanta a week earlier on Oct. 7.

I decided to go! The tickets aren't as expensive as I feared. Turns out the top price is $125 ($135 once you add tax/fees), not $200+, so I went for it.

And I got second row!

Oh how fun. I enjoyed the show he did practically in my backyard last summer. If only I were financially independent I would be able to travel the globe and see all the shows I wanted. Ah well...

You all know I couldn't pass this up. I logged on at exactly 10am when they went on sale this morning and there were only 3 seats left in the center section on the floor so I snatched those up. I got 2 seats in row 3 and 1 in row 7.

This concert couldn't have come at a better time for me. I'm so incredibly excited about seeing Don again. I thought I was going to go the whole year of 2011 without seeing him or the Eagles in concert. My prayers have been answered.
