Here's a nice Q&A with Jackson about his accoustic show. Lucky people who get to go to one of these!

    This made me laugh:
    Q. Have your songs ever changed over the years?

    A. That happens quite naturally. You sing them with a different lineup of musicians just to do it. Or some of these songs end up getting played differently.

There’s “Take It Easy.” I’ve sang it a bunch of times with an acoustic guitar, but my phrasing is a little different than Glenn Frey’s (who sang lead vocals in The Eagles’ version). I can hear it when the audience sings it. They’re singing Glenn’s (laughs). It’s like doing a duet with Glenn Frey every night.

I bought it because of one song, lol - Doctor My Eyes which is STILL my favorite JB song hands down. That piano riff is my favorite. I'll be very sad if I don't hear it next month. But I'll live.
We'll just have to make it happen.

Having been to the latest shows where they show the photoshoot for the Desperado cover, I'm stunned by how cute Jackson Browne was. Not suggesting that he isn't still. Tried to get a pic of him from the projection but didn't manage it. Anyone think he looks like Jonathan Jackson (Avery Barkley in Nashville)?

I don't know who Jonathan Jackson is so I looked him up.

He's cute! Can't say I see the resemblance, but I do agree with you that JB was very cute back then. I didn't like the mustache on him, though.

I think Jackson has kept his good looks into his 60's, although his eyes are more deep-set now, and his eyebrows could use a trim! And I sometimes wonder how many older male performers have hair plugs. Not saying Jackson does. Just curious.

Very good looking guy there, but I really can't say he would remind me of JB!

Pm, I agree JB has stayed very good looking and I didn't care for the mustache either. Hair plugs, nooooooooooooooo! Surely not!

Jack Tempchin posted this on his facebook page recently. I think the background is some people think Jackson wrote Peaceful Easy Feeling, so he decided to sing it.
