I saw him at the Orpheum in Memphis last year. It was definitely a more laid-back, mellow show than I was used to, but it was still great.

Seeing Jackson tonight at the Club Nokia here in L.A. (very intimate theater in the LA Live complex) along with David Crosby, Graham Nash, Kris Kristofferson, Van Dyke Parks, and Richie Furrray to name just a few other big stars.

Concert is part of the Grammy Museums Woodie Guthrie Centennial celebration. Got a front row seat on Wednesday after floor tickets started dropping the day before. Can't wait.

I was just on youtube and came across this from 1982. A small part of it is featured in the DVD Going Home, but I've never seen all of this! Jackson looks gorgeous and a fellow Border member might be interested as well, because Kooch is featured throughout. Caution - it's 35 minutes long!

OMG! Cathy - have I ever told you how much I love you? I'm only about ten minutes in, and already I have a big grin on my face. Jackson is so cute and Danny is so bada$$! Haha. I love it! "I rock, and when I'm not rockin', I rock some more." I kind of want that on a t-shirt!

Lol! I love that you love it too! Of course, I had to rewatch it to see the part you were referencing...

I love the part during Tender Is the Night when they show Kootch do a little fist pump to "Tender". Oh, and I love the way Jackson plays to the camera. Sexy!

I am loving it! I am only just getting the chance to continue with it now... Got to the "Woodstock was over ten years ago" bit, but I can't figure out what Danny says quietly beforehand, when Jackson goes over to him (ie: what leads to the whole Woodstock thing.) Did you catch it? That whole segment is very cute!

I love how well they seem to get on and joke around with each other. Warm fuzzies!

I didn't catch that either. Something about his guitar and Woodstock, but I can't hear enough to bridge the gap!

ETA: Troubadour, I love your avatar. Very fitting.
