    Default Los Angeles, CA 09-17-11

I found a few reviews online. Warning: setlist spoilers!

This first one has already been referenced in the Don Henley photo thread, but I'm putting it here as well:

    Another review with photos:

Even good ol' Bob Lefsetz was there:

This person took a lot of videos from the show but sadly, their quality is so poor that it's hard to enjoy them (IMHO). I appreciate the effort, of course!

    Enjoy!

    Recording now available!

Just wanted to let everyone know that there is a pretty good quality audience recording of this full show (09-17-2011) that has just now become available for download through the T.U.B.E. (The Ultimate Bootleg Experience) blog. I have just downloaded it and started to listen to it. It really seems to be a good quality recording of the show. Of course, it is no substitute for being there, but for those of us who have no chance of going to these shows, it is great to get the chance to at least hear the full concert set. Check it out.

Here is the link to the blog where it can be downloaded:

20 - All She Wants to Do is Dance
21 - Life in the Fast Lane

    Encore1:

    Tapers Notes:
"Its been awhile since Don Henley came back to his home town, as he now lives in Austin, Texas - This is a 17 pc band with a 7 piece horn section, 2 stunning backup singers, and his rock band - There were no introductions, so I don't know who is playing - The show had two encores, a total of 30 minutes past curfew, which at The Greek costs the band somewhere in the vicinity of $10-20,000 so I think its a safe bet that Don was having fun for this homecoming - Somebody help me out with the names of his band members, especially those two hot singers -"

Darn! I waited too long to download and now it isn't available anymore If someone downloaded it and is willing to share it please send me a pm and let me know what you need from me to send it. I would really like to have it as a memory of this year's concerts. Thanks!

I've been contacted by Henley's lawyer and he has requested that we do not encourage the distribution of this bootleg. Therefore, links have been removed.

OK. Read and understood. I wouldn't want to offend Don.
