I know, Brooke - it is amazing. I am surprized to know that Tequila Sunrise didn't make the Top 40. I thought that it was a bigger hit than that. I would have guessed that it didn't crack the Top 20, but thought it probably landed in the Top 40. I know Desperado wasn't a hit for the band back in the day. It was a hit for Linda Ronstadt and a country singer, though. It astonishes me that when I bought the album when it first came out, I didn't think it was nearly as good as the Eagles album. I guess Glenn was right when he talked about the reaction to the album - everybody was saying "they made a *bleep*ing cowboy record!"

Congrats to Desperado for the first place and Tequila Sunrise for the second.

I have been gone on a little mini-spring break trip to the beach with my oldest daughter for the last four days, and I am so happy to come home and find out Desperado was the winner!

    Yay!
