Default Don Henley Harrah's Casino, Rincon 25 Sept 2011

Another good show from Don at the Open Sky Theater, Rincon.
Same set list as at the Santa Barbara Bowl.
We had 2nd row seats on Will's side.

Camera's were allowed during the first part of the show, then security started telling people 'no photographs'. This cameras thing is strange; at Santa Barbara photos were allowed for the 2nd part of the show and at Rincon, for the first part of the show. It would be good if they made their minds up, as you don't know whether you're doing right or wrong!
My photo's from this show didn't come out well and I think it was 'cos the stage didn't have a backdrop to it, so the dark night sky was behind it. I got lots of 'ghosting' on my photos.

Once again, Don was on good form and quite chatty and Will was wonderful, as always.

We stayed in the casino hotel, and I saw Michael Thompson going in through the main door, and shared the elevator with Steuart Smith, wearing a guitar in a bag over his shoulder, on his way over to the show.

Again, I'm so glad I went to the show. I love Don's set list. My favourite songs were It don't matter to the Sun, Guilty and Funky Stuff.

Cool! Did you get the nerve up to say anything to Steuart Smith or Michael Thompson?

I didn't notice Michael quickly enough to get close enough to speak to him. I didn't speak to Steuart either - I couldn't get up the nerve, especially as there were 2 other people in the elevator. Silly me, I wish I had spoken to him. Shame it wasn't Will in the elevator - I'd have spoken to him for sure.

Well I'm NOT going to ask what you would have said to Will had you bumped into him Steph!

That’s unfortunate. I hope the concert experience made up for the picture issue.
