    Default Newkirk, OK 10-15-11

Just like with my Don review, I'll just post a quick summary now because I've got to be on the road. Turns out Newkirk is even further away than I thought from Memphis - I'll be driving nine hours!!! I decided to stop by Coffeyville on the way - it will add another hour, but nine or ten, what's the difference at that point?

I really enjoyed Joe's show. No Analog Man (sadly) and no I.L.B.T.s (thankfully). However, he really did wonderfully on PMAIAR - Jess got video! - and Turn To Stone was incredible. Once again, Jess came through with photos as well. They weren't policing it, so she got a ton. I'll post a teaser below.

When I get home tonight, I may or may not have the energy to post more details - but you will get them soon!

    Some teaser photos:

No ILBTs?! I love that song... Oh well, at least I have the video saved from YouTube! It's a great song!

No Analog Man? Damn - I was hoping you could talk about how it was and what it was like since there are no YouTube videos of it.

Glad to hear the show was great but I wouldn't expect anything else from Joe. He's a guitar god.

Listening to PMAIAR it sounds, once again, as if people go to concerts just to talk to other people instead of listening to the act. That makes me SO angry.

Soda wasn't joking when she said I got tons of photos. I really did. I'm still going through them to get them resized and clean up some of them. It may take me another day or two but I'll try to get them done and post them as soon as I can. Til then, I'll just post this video of PMAIAR. I'm so glad that I got this video because this is one of my favorites of Joe's songs. I just wish that I had gotten video of more songs.
