    Default Tulsa, OK 10-14-11

Just got back to the hotel. The show was great and Peek got tons of fab shots! I also managed to snag a setlist from one of the crew. We didn't get the second encore and Don's voice was a bit rough at first, but he was in a terrific mood and after his throat opened up, he was nailing it. More details later - I gotta get some sleep. It's Joe time tomorrow!

Before I go, though, a sample of Peek's handiwork:

Sounds like it was a good show. Good that Don's voice got better through the show. Did you enjoy hearing him do some quite different songs?

PLEASE tell me - how is my darling Will? Did he look gorgeous as usual?

I know his piano intro to 'It don't matter to the sun' would have been beautiful.
Did you notice him conducting the horn section?
That's something about him I remember from the shows I saw - playing the keyboard with his right hand & conducting with his left.

Will was in excellent form, and IDMTTS was indeed beautiful. I didn't notice the "conducting" bit but I guess I'm not that observant!

I didn't notice it either in the concerts I saw.... I guess that is another reason why I need to see Don again

Good reason HF! Maybe I need to see the show again, just to make sure I didn't imagine it

Found this review from the concert in Tulsa. The best part of the review was when Don said he would like to include "It Don't Matter to the Sun" on his country album. I WOULD LOVE THAT!!!
