Just surfing the internet after getting out of school an hour early. (We had a power outage because the construction workers working on our football field hit a power line.)

Wow! Lucky you. Hopefully none of the construction workers are now glowing in the dark, but how fabulous for you to get out of school an hour early. That was my grade school / middle school / high school dream come true!!

I did mine Friday morning before I left and by Saturday night there was a small chip in one. Handling carry-on luggage isn't nail-friendly.

I don't think it was the carry on luggage that chipped your nail. I think the chip occurred when you had your hands around the throat of the "helpful" airline person in the lost luggage section of the Vegas airport.

Sorry you don't feel well and I hope you feel better soon, but aren't there just some days when you'd kill to spend the day in bed??
I love being productive and having a goal or two for the day but on some days -- rainy, snowy, gloomy -- give me the remote, some chicken soup and a fluffy pillow. Heaven.

I was trying not to remember that...I'm pretty sure I handled the entire thing with dignity. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
