Here's a little bit of trivia based on Glenn s birthday.

The 6th November was also the birth date of Adolphe Sax inventor of the saxophone (1814) and Jean Philippe Sousa, inventor of the Sousaphone (1854). Guess it's a good birth date for musical genius!

Dear Glenn,

I hope you have a very, very happy birthday with your family & friends.

This year has been very special for me. I had the greatest privilege of watching those incredible solo shows at Niagara Falls, along with other Borderers. It's no exaggeration to say that I'm still recovering. All the risks you took singing those songs - to be there hearing you sing those songs for the first time in public was an absolute gift from you. I cannot express my gratitude enough. I eagerly await the release of your first new album since 1992 next year and your 40th year with the band you founded and still lead.

PM: that comment about how his voice has 'heart' is so accurate that I can only echo it with my own phrase. Don is Golden Throat; he is Velvet Throat.

GA: thank you for using some of my Sydney photos in that collage as well as the Fallsview photos. I think that is the best one yet.

Hmmm, we've speculated before on why Glenn seems to use the sax so much in his songs....could this be the reason? Subconsciously paying tribute to the man born on the same day as him?

Thanks so much for the music all these years! I've been a fan from the beginning of the Eagles and love, love, love your voice and your music! I must agree with what has already been said about your voice: Don's may be money, but yours is heart! What a wonderful sentiment and it's so true!
