Thanks to everybody for their birthday wishes. I must say again what a privilege & honour it was to meet Soda, GA, Dreamer, PLS, GL & HH, as well as GL & HH's better halves, at Niagara Falls and also to spend some time with TF & her father in Toronto. I felt that I was 'finally' a 'real' Borderer.

Not to mention the astounding & astonishing performances that Mr Frey favoured us with. I was so deeply honoured to be there that it's still reverberating with me. That photo Soda posted of him at the Roosevelt Hotel promises some great times ahead, I think! As always I look forward to sharing it all with you and maybe 'doing it all again if I could somehow' (I mean 'can somehow' but I wanted to quote IYWN).

As to birthday presents PM will be pleased to know that I got Paul McCartney's Red Square & New York City DVDs, also the Stones' Biggest Bang DVD & the Noel Gallagher album. I also got a history of Canada, as having visited, I felt I didn't know much about it.

Its still the 15th here so I feel justified in posting the greeting in the present tense! I hope you had a wonderful day Julie! Your presents sound wonderful, particularly the book about Canada. What a lovely idea for a present.

Let me also say that this time last year when I posted your greeting I had NO IDEA of the wonderful events that were ahead of us. I was truly thrilled to meet you at last and to pass such a wonderful 3 days with you and the others.

In view of this I have decided to make your collage focussing mainly on the events of the past year, particularly the Niagara Falls concert, and your own experiences in Australia last December, as well as a few other recent events.
