I want him brought from his happy holiday slumber over there on Melody Lane with all the other rich people and I want him brought right here, with a big ribbon on his head, and I want to look him straight in the eye and I want to tell him what a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, dickless, hopeless, heartless, fat-*ss, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey sh** he is! OMG, Willie, this is our all time favorite Christmas movie! That line just caps it all off! We watch it every Christmas Eve before bed and have since it came out! Our son can almost quote every line. Wonderful talent, that boy! Even though we've seen it umpteen times, we laugh hysterically every time! Love it!

    Love that movie.

As far as my favorite "Christmas" movie quote, it's not something I can share. It's from a movie called "Bad Santa". 'Nuff said.

This is one of my favorite Christmas movies, and my favorite version of A Christmas Carol. When I was young we used to watch this on Christmas Eve.

YUP---my 2nd favorite after It's A Wonderful Life. We watch it a couple times a year and just this past Saturday, Katie insisted that we put it in while we were wrapping gifts. I'm sure we'll watch it again before the end of the holiday season.

Another favorite of all the kids here, and myself, I admit, is Elf.... Will Ferrell is an idiot!!

Something that has become almost a tradition since it was first shown on Channel 4 (UK TV channel) in 1982 has been the annual showing of 'The Snowman'. I still have to have the tissues ready at certain points.

People who are not familiar with the film might get a slight surprise who introduces it.
(I've changed the original link. This is the complete film.)

Wow, what amazing Christmas decorations you have, Brooke!

My favourite Christmas film, hands down, is "It's A Wonderful Life". Jimmy Stewart is my favourite actor. I fell in love with him when I saw this film. It's beautiful, and he's brilliant. The man was way ahead of his time.

I'm not sure where to post my Christmas wishes for all of you, but I suppose this thread is as good a place as any.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU HERE ON THE BORDER! MAY YOU BE ABUNDANTLY BLESSED ON THIS SPECIAL DAY, AND EVERYDAY OF THE NEW YEAR AND ALWAYS.

I've got a peaceful, easy feeling

Brooke - Your tree is just lovely.

And UK TimFan - Thanks for posting that video. I've never seen it, but I have heard about it the film. I don't have time right now, but I'm definitely going to try to watch that over the holidays.

And Mrs. F - hope you have a wonderful holiday season as well, along with all Borderers, of course.
