I echo everybody's thoughts and wish our fearless leader (only VERY SPECIAL people get that title ) Nancy a very happy birthday!

There is an extra dimension this year though as I finally had the honour & privilege to meet Nancy and share with her (and some other Borderers of course) two of the most amazing nights I have experienced as a Glenn Frey fan. I will just say here that on the second night when he started Some Kind Of Blue you gave me a huge smile, Nancy. I knew just how you felt.

I also have a huge amount of admiiration for the work you do. While I know something about English literature I can't compare with you for in depth study of it.

As for everything you have done for our Eagles sites; we are all deeply grateful & will always remain so.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NANCY!!!

I can't tell you too many times how much I appreciate all the hours you spend creating & looking after this site! When I began searching for more info on the Eagles & Glenn in particular I soon discovered that this was the best site on the internet! When I first logged on to the site I never imagined how many wonderful hours I would spend here with all the wonderful friends I have met! I consider it a privilege to have learned so much from you about the Eagles & so many other topics & to have met you. Our two adventures will always be two of my fondest memories!

When Glenn told the story about the Eagles being sent to Aspen in 1971 to play at "The Gallery" he mentioned that The Liitle Nell now sits on the site where "The Gallery" stood. I know you didn't get into Aspen to see the spot but "HERE'S WHERE IT ALL STARTED"! The Nell is located right at the base of Aspen Mountain.







Here's a little surprise! I didn't realize for a long time that Harold had taken this & then I kept forgeting to post it so I thought that your birthday was the perfect time. Enjoy "I hear You Knockin'"!
