No - the two shows were several days apart. Apparently the venue was unavailable for back-to-back shows.

Here in Virginia, the second largest cigarette producer in the US, the laws are very strict. No smoking in restaurants or bar areas unless strict ventilation guidelines are met and the area is totally blocked off, with a door, from the rest of the building. Most restaurants can't afford the renovation costs and so there is no smoking in most places. Of course, we don't have casinos, either. Heck we don't even officially have bars, they have to be part of a restaurant and sell a certain percentage of food to keep their license. It has just occurred to me I live in a very uptight place.
    No you don't! Lol.

In Ireland there is absolutely no smoking in any indoor public place whatsoever, bars, restaurants, shops, schools, colleges public transport, hospitals, shopping malls, stations, etc. The ban was introduced in 2004 and was brought in on the premise that any public place like this is somebody's workplace. And no worker should be exposed to cigarette smoke in the course of their work. Initially it was met with resistance from some people. A lot of establishments have built 'smoking terraces' ie outdoor corrals with a flimsy roof and patio heaters as a solution! You also see people smoking outside a shopping mall or hospital before they go in. In hotels you can smoke in your room but not the areas open to the public. Now, 8 years on its totally acceptable.

We don't have casinos either. I dont think there is any specific reason! Just nobody bothered to set one up!

I'll search for the review today after Glenn's interview. There were no reviews posted yesterday.
