Soda, I'm glad you are better. It sounds like you've got a handle on your illness and know what to expect and then do what you need to do. I'm very proud of you. Wonderful about getting such good tickets and that you persevered through that!

EL - Viruses are a pain. I typically get the cases where people are at that point. I'm the last ditch effort guy to try to save it from having to be restored - my specialty is malware removal and studying malware and how to go about removing it.... I think most of the time it can be removed but most computer techs especially in stores have no freaking clue how to go about it. If they can't run Malwarebytes they think it's a lost cause.. There is so much technology out there now to remove complex malware/viruses now. Most of my clients have been very lucky they were sent my way and recommended me. Saved their data and got the PC clean again.
