Glenn solo show at The Wiltern in LA, May 26, 2012

I think I always knew I would go to this. Seeing a show at this particular venue on this particular date holds special significance for me, as I believe I've explained elsewhere. It was meant to be!

OK, firstly, thank you to absolutely everybody here for all the support and encouragement I have had from you, both on and off the board!

Well I got to thinking.... we are into exams next week and each of us gets a day off. I applied for Monday. I only have one class on Freyday coming which a friend has volunteered to take. This is 'unofficial'. I am making it look like I will be at work on Freyday. But I won't be! I'll be airborne to LA! When I texted Soda with this idea I added 'If I go to LA would you?' She texted back 'Yes I would'.

So I will make it after all! Arriving back to Dublin early Tuesday morning - and straight back to work! Lol! But it will be worth it! So Brooke! Thats how I did it!

GL, you know I would pack you into my suitcase if I could.... but I'll only be bringing my hand luggage again! And I'd love to be meeting Koala and Wild as well. Maybe some other time!

Zelda! I think Glenn will know I have come over from Ireland. And he'll know its not the first time. Of course it is my dream to meet him some day.... but I can't see that being very likely somehow. Glenn if you are reading this...... amaze me!!

And Willie and GL! Of course I will be bringing the sign again..... We'll see what happens. All I want is for Glenn to know I made it to support 'After Hours'

I have been very busy all day discreetly getting ahead at work, and also getting stuff ready for LA! Can't believe I'll be there in 3 days flat and seeing Glenn in 4!

Soda, I would have been more surprised if you hadn't gone! I figured you were the third one! I'm so happy for all of you that are going and only wish I were too! So, we that are left at home will just have to be there with you all in spirit! Give Glenn some love from us too! Have a wonderful time, all of you! lol about those who would be surprised if I hadn't gone, but I gotta say, I really didn't think I would do it. It wasn't until I went on my little groupie-without-benefits-tour that I realized I had to make it work somehow! So I did.

The only problem is that I woke up with a catch in my throat, and that is usually a precursor to a cough. NOOOOOOO. I am not going to be coughing my way through this show. Let's pray that it's a false alarm and I don't have to be swigging cough medicine throughout.

Take echinacea and lots of citrus! You can also get a preventative spray! I got it before Niagara Falls last year when I sensed a sore throat coming.
