That surprises me. I didn't know Joe was friends with Bono & I really didn't think Bono would attend an Eagles concert. I am not a fan (runs & hides) but it's a nice photo.

But then Joe seems to be friends with everybody. He is... lucky that way.

I have to admit. I was surprise to know U2 (or Bono in this case) like the Eagles too. I was thinking about the Nashville show from last year when a lot of country stars were at that show. Its good to know that other stars love and respect the guys. You don't hear that that much.

Joe has a lot of friends. Maybe Joe has played on one of the U2 albums. I don't know.

That is a great picture of Bono with Joe. Joe does seem to have and make friends everywhere he goes!

I am a huge U2 fan. The Boston radio stations really helped to break them into the US music scene in the 1980's and when they perform here in Boston its just a wonderful experience.

I don't always agree with Bono in terms of politics etc, but I will say that he appears to be respectful of musical legends and Joe is certainly one of the guitar greats!

I'd say U2 are my alter ego: Bono with his wonderful lyrics (oh my, "Running to Stand Still" is about ME!), Edge with his thrilling guitar, Adam with his powerfull bass and Larry with his passionate drumming. Maybe I should write more in the U2 thread when I'm finished with my translation.
And - yes! I love this photo, too!
As for Joe recording with U2 - I am absolutely positive that he hasn't.
