NO!! Not New York Minute! That's the song that started it all for me...

Admittedly, it was the HFO version, and it does sound much better with Eagles harmonies on it. But STILL.

Again, to each their own and when I used the phrase "fun little tune" in my last post, I truly meant it.

I think you sum it up well here, Dreamer....

I've always been a dreamer]I couldn't disagree with you more about Dirty Laundry. I love the song and think it is very catchy, well-crafted, and pleasing to my ears. I think some of Don's songs can come across as "preachy", but this is certainly not one of them. To me, the upbeat, catchy delivery helps soften the scathing lyrics so that it doesn't come across as a rant. I believe the song will finish in the top five in this game, and deservedly so.
It seems as if most of us feel that way.

Got so hell bent on trying to make my point in the above post, I forgot to put what I was voting for.

I put the last 7 songs on pieces of paper and threw them in a hat and this is the one I drew out (just kidding, but I might as well do it that way because I'm getting to the point where I don't know what to vote off because the rest are all favorite!).

I vote for The Last Worthless Evening.

NYM is a good song and it has a meaningful message. However, it is kind of depressing, especially the part about the guy committing suicide by throwing himself in front of a train. For me right now, it's between that and DL.

I love New York Minute, from the haunting bassline to the message of the lyrics, it's a beautiful song. Reminds us to appreciate every minute because life is precious and you never know what will happen.....
PLEASE.....It's too soon for this beautiful song to go.

I vote End of The Innocence. The song just doesn't do anything for me. I find the piano annoying. I don't know why because I usually like piano.

I'm pretty much to that point too TBF. Now it is really hard to pick what should be next. My top three are fixed, but the rest.......
