    Default Eagles-Atlantic City, NJ;Sept. 1-Sept. 2, 2012

TM has two new dates for the Eagles at Revel Beach Resort in Atlantic City.

    PreSale-Wed. July 18th
    General Sale-Fri. July 20th

    Top ticket price: $375 (ouch)

ILAA will also be selling tix but no info yet on pricing. If top TM price is $375 you can image what ILAA will charge. Ooooh!

Hope this means a tour in the works.

This is very confusing since TM has Joe scheduled for a British Columbia date on 9/01. His 9/02 date has been moved to 9/08.

I guess it was a last minute thing that they weren't initially planning to do. Revel Resorts must have made it very worth their while. Poor Joe, having to scramble!

However, I bet it will be a terrific show. It's going to be in a relatively "intimate setting" - a 5500-seat venue. No wonder it is so pricey. I envy those who are going!

Well, I might hit up Ticketmaster when they go on sale, just to see what comes up. If I get a good enough seat...

...but dang, that's a lot of money, and you know it will be the short set, the same they've been doing for a couple years now....

...but seeing them in such a small venue would be so cool...

Well, in order to make it worth the money and the trip for me, it would have to be a super-duper awesome seat. Since all of those go to ILAA and casino comps, I think it's safe to say I won't be going.

Actually, ILAA is the same price as usual. It's the venue jacking up prices here, not the band - at least not directly. It's just that this venue has to meet the Eagles upfront fee just like bigger arenas and since they have fewer tickets to sell to make back the money, they raise the price for them considerably. Of course, what the casino makes off of the people who come collaterally - the hotel rooms many of the audience members will get, the food they'll eat, the gambling they'll do - should make the Eagles very profitable for the casino regardless. Therefore, I still think the casino went overboard with these prices!

Resellers are listing Row DD Center Orchestra for $4900. I better be careful. VA will poison my dinner and sell my seat for $5,000.

Resellers don't always get the prices they are asking! They usually go down when it gets close to the show. They really need to set a limit on what resellers can sell tickets for. They are scalpers, & I thought that was illegal. Stubhub is full of them!

Ok my understanding and I think I read it somewhere from an interview with Don Henley was that they give the best seats to ILAA to sell to people who really want it ..."the true fans" as I believe it was put. That way , the band makes the money ,not the scalpers as was stated in the interview . So, I guess you are kinda paying the band , which I dont mind instead of the scalpers.lol

    The whole process just stinks.
A small venue has nothing to do with it. LAst time I saw them at the Borgata , it was a smaller venue and the whole place was 500.oo a ticket.
