Look what I found in a Twitter search... JD and the Straight Shots will be opening for the Eagles in Atlantic City. It's a family website so I'll keep my thoughts to myself.

Hey, what's going on???

Who is this and why are they opening for our boys.

Now that all the tixs are sold out they are gonna throw an opening act in??
Since when do the eagles need an opening act???

These guys have opened for the Eagles a few times before. They've also occasionally opened for Don and Joe solo shows. I think they are opening for Joe on some of his shows on his tour now. I really don't get why the Eagles have them open for them. Suffice it to say I know a bunch of fans that are not too impressed with them, including yours truly. JD is a good friend of Joe's and is from a very wealthy family that owns a healthy chunk of New York, including a cable company and the NY Knicks basketball team. I guess money can buy lots of things.

OK THIS SUCKS.
I have seen the eagles.3 times and never seen an opening act.
I mean they have so much material to pick fROM for performing who wants to wASTE TIME WITH someones rich kids WHO idea THIS IS of fun.

I cAN KINDA SEE IF THEY R BY THEMSELVES SOLO BUT NOT AS A GROUP.

I certainly can't see how this would be false advertising. The fact that there is an opening act won't change the Eagles' performance at all. We're going to only get a 1 1/2 - 2 hour show from the Eagles no matter what. When JD & the Straight Shot opened for Don, I just stayed outside in the lobby and visited with friends. The first time I saw Joe in Atlantic City, Bruce Willis was announced as an opening act on the same day of the show. I think this kind of thing happens rather frequenly in casino shows.

first time for me!!

We saw Don at Borgata and he was sick and didnt have an opening act.
I just think they should be reguired to tell you this. AN they better play for more than and hour

Hall and oates did that one time only did 7 songs then said buy goodnite.
Much as I love them wont go again to see them live.
