Well, I don't know how they are doing this if they aren't transferable but they are listed on StubHub? That does seem strange, but they are listed for sale?? Obviously they are working around that somehow, or else it is a scam of some kind, but StubHub is supposed to be legit for tickets, so I hear. I never bought tickets from them.

I think some resellers are selling on StubHub. There's no ticket owner listed, but Vivid has similar seats on sale for same StubHub price minus StubHub fees. I did a live chat with Vivid since my previous post and they assured me they weren't affiliated with VIP Nation, but yet could not give me a reason that they can't guarantee a seat number. Only row and section, and they will not ship the ticket until Aug. 30 which tells me the seat won't be chosen until then. These are legit tickets, not a scam. And apparently scalping is only illegal if you do it outside the venue and in person.

Also, it's completely illegal in some states.

These scalpers always have workarounds. ILAA aka VIP Nation has lessened the amount of tickets that scalpers can acquire through the requirement of ID and non-transferability, but those scalpers always still manage to get their hands on primo seats through alternative means like shady backdoor deals with people who have access.

Irving Azoff is not affiliated with StubHub as far as I know, but a few years ago, the "ticket broker" site TicketsNow was acquired by Ticketmaster, of which Azoff is CEO.

I'm not familiar with Vivid, but why is scalping only scalping if done in front of the venue?? Tickets are not supposed to be sold over a certain percentage of the actual ticket price, but I'm not sure what that percentage is.
Whatever? If these people think they can get $4900. for a ticket, I'm not so sure they're going to get it.

Here's something interesting. I was looking for WHO tickets, & they have not yet gone on sale. Not even Pre sale, yet Subhub already has tickets for sale. How is this possible? I don't understand how this is done. There is certainly something illegal going on here!

I just read the last couple pages of this thread and I'm almost physically sick to my stomach! And yet "the higher powers" don't want me watching Eagles videos on YouTube (tried to find a vid this morning of the Bernie days, and they've all been taken down, AGAIN) but they let this crap go on with their tickets so true fans can't even afford to go see them. YouTube's my only option to see them at this point. Way to show thanks to the people that put you where you are today!
