It has been said on numerous occasions that people are entitled to vote for whichever songs they wish, for whatever reasons they wish. I voted for Top Of The Stairs in a couple of rounds because I don't like the song very much; it's as simple as that.

You have voted for Make You Feel My Love each round in which you have voted, so you are as persistent as the people you don't name.

How did that happen? Out of nowhere, Down By The River, which is my favourite track, just disappears.

I will continue to vote for the song I like the least here which is Make You Feel My Love.

What the heck happened? Down By The River is Gone and it hardly had any votes before this round? (Don't have time to go back and check, but good grief!) I love that song! It is also one of my top songs in the game! I'm sad!

Crikey, how on earth did 'Down by the river' make the list in the first place?
I know that I'm hardly the most observant person in the world if I've only just realised that, but there's one song on the list that I 'dislike' even more than 'Down by the river' so perhaps that has closed my mind to the existence of DBTR. That's probably the reason that it's only collected two votes so far - it's in the middle of most people's lists, and other songs they 'dislike' more are the ones they've been voting for. Sometimes persistently.

First of all, I want to stress that my post isn’t about what song you voted for or how you voted, or that you changed your vote. We have repeatedly said people have the right to vote however they want, including changing their mind if they wish.

However, I find it incredible that after more than 2½ weeks of playing this game that you are just now realizing that Down By the River was one of the songs in this game, particularly given the fact that there has been quite a bit of discussion about the song and it has even received previous votes. If what you claim is true, it is very disrespectful and inconsiderate to others playing this game that you would vote when you haven’t even taken the time to know what songs are in competition. As a moderator of the game, I guess I should now caution others to please make sure going forward that you are aware of what songs are in play before voting.

Then, you say that there was only one song on the list that you ‘dislike’ even more than ‘Down By the river’? What song was that? I assumed it was Make You Feel My Love since every vote that you had cast in the game was for that song. But then, when you had the opportunity to eliminate the song, you changed your vote. Yes, you do have the right to change your vote, but your post is just disingenuous.

Throughout this Survivor I'm been voting for 'Make you feel my love', simply because it's a song I usually skip.
However, as I said in post #192, I've only just realised 'Down by the river' is on the list and, IMO, it shouldn't be.

Votes for 'Down by the river' and 'Make you feel my love' are currently tied. Therefore if anybody else wants to vote for 'Down by the river', I will join them rather than continue to vote as I previously have which would leave the vote tied and going to count-back.

Here you claim, you will only vote for ‘Down by the river’ if someone else breaks the tie first. Then, in the end, you cast the tie-breaking vote. As a fellow player, I find your deception here to be insulting, particularly coming from someone who is always so quick to pass judgment on others in these games.
