The night’s most meaningful irony was the sizzling Nicks-Crow encore of Led Zeppelin’s 1971 hit “Rock ’n’ Roll.”

Now THAT I would have enjoyed; not Sheryl Crow, who leaves me cold, but Stevie doing Rock'n'Roll. I seem to remember Soda saying she's sung it before.

Yes - everybody check out Oprah on Wednesday! I have a friend who was at the taping and while Stevie isn't on the whole show, her segment is significant.

I want to go to this SO BADLY but I promised a student I'd attend his graduation ceremony and I'm keeping my word. I have three friends who are going, though, and they'll give me the low-down. I'm terribly jealous because Stevie will be playing selections from her new CD which will have only been out a day or two at that point, and some of those she may never play again. Dang it, if it had been any other day!!!

Yes - she's been doing that song since 2007. She does quite a fun version of it, too! I hardly need say what I think of that review, lol.

I'm with you FP---would love to see Stevie doing Rock N Roll. I'm also not a Sheryl Crow fan at all! Wonder if there's a video of her doing it somewhere.

Soda-I know what you mean--it stinks when real life gets in the way of these concerts. I'm feeling that myself right now. Gotta do the right thing tho--good for you!

Didn't see Oprah!! I would of like to seen all those ladies of rock.

Everyone's pretty quiet about the new song, Cheaper Than Free.... So what's everyone thinking? I guess I'll go ahead and give my opinion but I hate to...I really don't care much for it. I've listened to it a couple of times and I can't quite put my finger on why. The beginning really doesn't do a thing for me but it does pick up midway through. I'm sorry! (hangs head in shame)

Have to say it didn't do much for me either. Might grow on me but how much will it get played here in the UK for that to happen.
