    Default Stevie Nicks

The Stevie Nicks concerts I saw in Las Vegas were wonderful! Stevie was really in high spirits. Her voice was strong and she looked to have lost weight, even doing high kicks and dancing a bit! Her shows are very dramatic and it was worth every penny to see her. It reminded me why I love Stevie so much! Since it was Vegas, there were some big set-ups. For Landslide, clips of her life through the years were flashed behind her as she sang. It added an extra poignancy an already moving song. She got dressed up for Beauty and the Beast (as she did for the Don tour) and clips from the movie showed behind her in her old-fashioned gown and gorgeous pinned-up hair (the rest of the time it was down). She wore her famous high-heeled boots that had been put away for a long time (I hope she continues to do that on the coming tour) and a shorter skirt. She looked healthy and happy. She also took some chances vocally, improvising occasionally. She delivered a great performance!

    Stevie Nicks rocks!!!

That sounds really great. I'd love to catch one of her concerts.

I just ordered tickets for John Mayer - he's FINALLY coming to my area.

Btw, Stevie was on CBS's Sunday Morning show this morning!

I always have this show on while getting ready for church and this morning, there she was! She looked great. I was in the middle of preparing a dinner dish so I taped it, but haven't had time to watch it yet.

You might be able to find it on their internet site.

Thanks for the tip, Brooke. And Soda, I'm glad you enjoyed the show so much. They have added tour dates thru mid-June on Stevie's website. I think I just may have to try to get to one of these shows.

I was looking through our old vinyl albums the other day to see what I'd forgotten we had and came upon the Buckingham/Nicks one. They were both so young and beautiful on the cover of that!
